Album Description
More than anything, Mitchie wants to spend her summer at a prestigious rock camp in order to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. Mitchie thinks her prayers are answered when her mother gets them jobs at the camp as cooks. Upon arriving at camp, Mitchie discovers the competition among the campers is tough both in the classroom, and for the attention of Shane - a teen pop star, and this summer's celebrity teacher. Shane (Joe Jonas)- who is seeking inspiration for his own music - overhears Mitchie singing, but never sees her face. Haunted by her unique sound, he sets off to find the girl behind the beautiful voice as she confronts her fears and learns to step into the spotlight.

The soundtrack to Disney’s Camp Rock is manna for sagging tween spirits: Demi Lovato, The Jonas Brothers, and a handful of others well known among the Disney Channel-watching demographic wind their youthful voices around a maniacally catchy set of songs. Camp Rock is awsome and it has the Jonas Brothers in it too!!!!! This is so the album to buy. If your kool like me....buy it right now, what are you waiting for!?!?!?!?!?! Stop reading and buy away, go crazy singing these awsome songs. Why are you still reading my review? You need to buy this like NOW!!!! But what do I know I'm only 12 for peate sake. BUY NOW!!!
Camp Rock Rocks!
My 7 year old daughter loved the movie and now loves playing the soundtrack. She was able to see Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers in concert this summer and she loves them both. We don't care for the "Too Cool" song since it sends the wrong message to girls, but overall the songs are fun and upbeat. Demi can really sing great.
