Customer Reviews
Excellent Ingenuity & Great Fun!
This expansion to Spore is wonderful and added so many different new twists on to the original game that I could hardly keep up at first!
The number of additional items and effects that "Creepy & Cute" brings is definitely worth the buy. I would recommend it to any one who already has the original game, or plans to buy it. Hands down, it adds loads more fun to the experience!
I dont even need to buy it to see....
EA will be making 8,903,561, expansions of this game. What is worse is the fact this Stuff Pack is $20. It is a waste of money!
Fun new parts ... assuming the installer works
The various new parts are discussed at length elsewhere, so I won't bother. My son really enjoys the new parts and actions, so I've rated this a five for fun. On the other hand, I agree with the other reviewers that it should be cheaper, so overall it's a four. How typical of EA to squeeze their customers.
A more important issue is the poorly-designed installer. The EA Download Manager MUST be running in order for the installer to work. Unfortunately, this isn't mentioned in the manual or the installer itself. The installer should check if the EADM is running and start it if it isn't. However, EA either didn't think of it or couldn't be bothered. Shame on EA. After I wasted 30 minutes trying to install this pack, my son suggested trying with the EADM running. Smart boy.
